The king of Lo Manthang keeps main role and the festival celebrates with performance of music and dance by monks. After exploring the 3 days Tiji Festival our return journey goes to Tsarang, Syangboche, Chhusang, than finally to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara.
The three days celebrating, Tiji festival is ritually known as “The Chasing of the Demons” based on mythological legends. During the festival, Tiji tells the story of immortal “Dorje Jono” who was responsible to fight against his devil father and saved the kingdom of Mustang – Lo Manthang. The land Upper Mustang is very dry land and the Demon Father created critical situation by creating water shortage, which made very difficult situation to live. Legend assumes that, Dorje Jono used his supreme power against the devastating devil and banished him from that kingdom which was not possible by any other human beings.The festival celebrated in spring season, generally in the month of May.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport 1365m and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing tour to all world heritage sites around Kathmandu valley 1340m.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara 820m, drive by tourist bus or private vehicle (It depends on your group size & Package)
Day 04: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom 2720m and trek to Kagbeni 2800m, 3-4 hours.
